Xolo has launched new low cost smartphone, Xolo A550s IPS in India. It is launched in India for Rs. 5,799. It comes with 4 inch screen and runs on Android Jelly Bean but Xolo says that it will upgraded to Android Kitkat.
Xolo A550s IPS comes with leather finish body. It is just 9mm thick.
Xolo A550s IPS features a 4 inch WVGA IPS Display with 800×480 pixel resolution which has pixel density of 233ppi. It runs on 1 GHz dual core MTK6572M Processor with 512 MB RAM. For graphics it has Mali 400 GPU.
Xolo A550s IPS comes with 5 megapixel AutoFocus rear camera with LED flash. It also has 0.3 megapixel front camera. It has 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Xolo A550s IPS has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, WLAN GPS/AGPS, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth. It has 1,400 mAh Battery which gives 8 hours of talktime and 570 hours of standby time on 3G network.
Xolo A550s IPS runs on older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but Xolo says that it will be updated to Android Kitkat 4.4.2. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device with dual standby support.

Xolo A550s IPS comes in White color with golden color on its sides. It is listed on company website for rs. 5,799. it will go up for sale in India soon.
