Samsung had launched mini variant of flagship model Galaxy S5 called Galaxy S5 mini in India for Rs. 26,999. Galaxy S5 Mini was announced back in July. The Galaxy S5 mini was earlier spotted on Samsung India Website. Earlier Flipkart has also teased the device. Now Samsung has officially announced that Galaxy S5 mini will be sold exclusively on Flipkart.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini Duos will be exclusively sold on Flipkart starting from September 10. Earlier Samsung has launched Galaxy K Zoom exclusively launched on Amazon India. Now Samsung has inked deal with Flipkart to launch mini version of Galaxy S5. The device come with fingerprint sensor, Heart rate sensor and dust and water resistance body with IP67 certification.
Samsung Galaxy S5 mini features a 4.5 HD Super AMOLED display with 720×1280 pixel resolution which has pixel density of 326ppi. It’s screen is protected by with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. It runs on 1.4 GHz quad core processor with 1.5 GB of RAM.
Galaxy S5 mini features 8 Megapixel Auto Focus rear camera. It also has 2.1 megapixel front camera. It has 16GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 64 GB using MicroSD card,
The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini is equipped with connectivity options like Advanced LTE and Wi-Fi MIMO (802.11ac), USB 3.0, Bluetooth, 3G, NFC , Infrared, Micro-USB, A-GPS, GLONASS, and IR Remote. The device packs 2,100 mAH battery which is capable of 290 hours of standby time.
Samsung Galaxy S5 runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2 with a layer of ToucWiz UI. It comes with private mode/ kids mode, Ultra Power Saving Mode features.
